That's not too bad when you consider the whole picture. We got our 75 back in feb, and I think we paid with all the things we needed like 700. If you getting the wooden stand with it, then you're getting a super deal, but the thing is, you want to have help moving it. A tank that size isn't light, and I got someone to help me move and set up mine. The bulk of the cost is going to be in the stand, if its a wooden one, the lighting and filters. The tank itself really isn't all that much money, its the other things you need that really add up. I think thats a good deal.

Well.. to give you an idea...
We had a 175gal that we sold for about 400. This was a $2500 set up. It had the tank, stand, two heaters, rock, fish, filters, wet/dry filter, lights... everything.
We then moved and just bought a used 80gal with stand, two heaters and a filter for $250.
Personally... your friend is over pricing it a lil. I understand it is hard to sell something when you have put so much money into it. But it is used. The next person doesn't have any guarantee that the tank is no problematic in some way. It is that risk that drops the price.
I hope this helped!!! Good Luck to you and your friend!!

Yes. That is a great price. Just make sure there aren't any leaks in the tank. Make sure you do a lot of research before buying any fish. Read up on everything you can find, ask loads of question and your fish will have a better shot at survival. Get a book from a fish store too. Have fun with it!

Boycotting big oil is like boycotting air. It would be stupid to pay full price for gas when BP is offering it for $.75 less right across the street. Principles yield to necessity.

That's a pretty good price for an aquariam, but make sure it's in good condition first!

oh yes it's , if you get all the equipment plus the stand, hell yeah that is a great deal
When you buy them new you will spent at least $700-$1000
on all the equipment you need
Go for it

Good luck
