I just want to ask why, I have done some researching and found out that the Turk's stated that the Armenian's made up this so called Genocide so that they could ruin the Turk's reputation. WHAT !!!!!!!!!!???? What are they even talking about ? The Turk's don't want to accept that what they did was wrong, or even what they did even happened ! If you have any doubt , view the film Ararat- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0273435/ What the darn Turk's did was evil and they don't want to even recognize it. It makes me sick and sad to think of the women and children the Turk's killed, for there so called "cleansing".

Armenian Genocide happened my grandma is one of the living prove of it, what happened that Ataturk (this nick name was given to Kamal by an Armenian), He changed everything even their alphabet(which was done by the same Armenian, because they did not have any linguist and educated turk in their country)

A link to Yahoo Q& A about the Armenian linguist.

Any way Ataturk wanted the people of turkey to forget and just do not remember anything about ARMENIAN GENOCIDE, it is almost 100 years and they are totally brain washed and believe that there was no such thing, they are living in our ancient lands, they can use our Van as their city, our villages our churches our everything and deny it, they stole our music our food our culture (twisted it around of course, so no one will notice….lol) BUT I am %100 positive it is not going to stay this way, world changes (take a look at the history of the world and you will find out the huge changes).

So all we do is participate in every Armenian event, keep the fire or our torch of believes and positive thoughts high, we will get there.
VICTORY IS OURS....!

Who do you punish,it was like 90 years ago? But I think the evidence I've heard suggests it was indeed a true Genocidal Act,not an "apparent genocide". But it was a time of extreme change in Turkey,so in their defense I will say that sometimes when massive change is taking place, sometimes innocent people get caught in the crossfire. That doesn't condone it,it's simply a fact of life proven by History over and over again. YTP

For the same reason the neo-Nazis claim there was no Holocaust -- they actually believe what Hitler said: "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it." P.S.: On a side note, the Armenian genocide is a perfect example of why gun control is a bad thing. The Turks were able to "cleanse" themselves of over 1.5 million Armenians because they established gun control in 1911. So, from 1915 to 1917 a million and a half Armenians were killed because they could not lawfully own firearms to defend themselves. How sad...

Well, it seems that nobody understands WHY.
There are many things I don't understand too.
1- Turks killed by Armenians. As a nation we are able to understand the difference between WAR & GENOCIDE.
Oh, if it was a genocide then there was Turkish genocide by Armenians too.
2- Why don't USA accept the genocide in Vietnam.
3- Why don't USA accept the genocide in Iraq.
Well, if 2 and 3 are not genocides, then there was NO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE.

I don't understand either...sure it's hard, but we Americans admit to the genocidal practices towards Native Americans and many celebrate the 'Trail of Tears' here right along side the Cherokee Nation (I'm about 12 miles from the border)...The Germans admit to the genocide practiced towards the Romany, Gays, and Jews (not to mention Russians)...The British admit to the terrible concentration camps they put Boer men, women and children in where one out of every two died...The French admit to murdering over 100,000 protestants during the Reformation, many by torture or burning alive, the Australians admit to terrible atrocities among the Aborigines and even putting a bounty on them for anyone who killed one to get paid for it...Even the Russians have admitted to mass murder of Polish Leaders and Military...

So what makes the Turks so different...the only thing I see different is that the peoples that admitted their wrongs were Christians....and Turkey is Muslim...

Come to think of it, I have never heard of a Muslim nation ever admitting to any wrong whatsoever...

Truth is the first casualty of war. Unfortunately it's always easier to deny something this large than to take responsibility for it. To admit fault would be extremely difficult for their government for several reasons. One is that the Turkish people would probably become resentful of their government if they admitted it, and none of the fools want to risk losing an election. Also, if admitted, there could be huge costs in terms of reparations. Plus, this would set a precedent that would inhibit the Turks from going after other minorities, specifically, the Kurds.

It's all politics, and it is disgusting.

I do wish the European Union would make Turkey explain their stance on the situation and present their "evidence" before allowing them membership...

That's never happened and also if anyone wanted to called it a genocide it would meant the other way round like Armenians didn't want Turks to exist anymore and more Turks were killed we called it a war.......why? COS İT WAS A WAR

Armenians still dont open their archives and Turkish archives are still open to anyone....

I wonder why...

well actually I dont since they are a hungry nation hungry, penniless and greedy for more lands...that would explain why they have to lie..

Because it is hard to believe that a society could be so ruthless as to committ genocide. When asked if people would not forgive Germany for the genocide of the Jews, Hitler is reported to have said, "Do they remember Armenia?"

People often want to look the other way, in man's inhumanity to man, but it is hard to deny when people are missng, such as people who want to deny that the Holocaust ever happened. Population is missing in Armenia, it is hard to deny that one. Those that do not remember their history are doomed to repeat it.

It was Winston Churchill who said, 'Out of intense complexities, intense simplicities emerge.'
The reason is very simple...
lemme ask u this first... What's the price of a Genocide these days??? Any idea???
nah seriously, just throw a number, nd value it if u can...

It's sad to see a nation who's lost its mind. But it's tragic when they convinced themselves that they are sane...

They brought fire and war to my country. they insulted my nation. They threaten my people with slavery and death! Oh i think accepting Armenian Genocide would be least of their concern...
They say don't wound what you cannot kill...
its all comin bk fellas ;)
