Ladies, do you like being viewed as the weaker gender?

Any time a guy says that he doesn't believe that men should hit women and if he sees a guy doing it, he is going to beat him up, it is because he views women as weaker beings than men who need protection. Ladies, do you like being viewed like this?

well i do have less upper body strength. its just a fact.

Physically we're not as strong as most men. If a big guy is throwing down on me I'd want someone, anyone to help me out. I mean that's not a fair fight. I don't even know why a man would beat on a woman anyway. So it's not that we are the weaker gender, because If a big man is beating up a little man then he's viewed as weaker. So it pretty much has nothing to do with us being the weaker gender.

I may be physically weaker than most men, but in no way am I weaker than a man. I have lived with a great many things in my life, abuse, betrayal, death, depression, the loss of a child, murderous desires of a past lover, the decline of my sick mother and her relationship with my father. Sure, there are many men in this world who have seen this kind of stuff in their lives. But all of it, and most of it at once? All the while dealing with trouble at work, trouble with friends, financial crisis among other issues. I am able to balance all this and more. I have never seen a man do as well. The moment I meet a man who can face all this with a clear head, while not being afraid of expressing emotion, and not running from all the troubles in his life, like all other men I've ever known have done, I will happily admit that women are the weaker gender. Until then..... weaker? HAH!!!

I have known some pretty tough girls that can handle their own problems. I think it is human nature to protect thoughs weaker then you. Sometimes it may be a women but offten I have stood up for weaker guys in school, that are being picked on or assulted.

I think if someone is beating on a woman and a total stranger steps in.....it proves the guy stepping in a bigger man.Not because the lady is weaker but because its not right to hit a woman....

Ive been beat and raped and its not fun.It happened 20 yrs ago and it still to this day follows me around.I dont care if someone wouldve called me weak,I wish someone was there to protect me. I faught with everything in me but I was a young teenager (13) and he was 5 yrs older than me.

Another question uncalled for. I think your just twisting things now. Taking what we all know are your true thought on this, and making it out to be like a male would never protect a female if he thought of her as equal. How shameful. If anyone sees anyone getting beaten up like I would think they would have the common courtesy and common sense to help out in some way and break up the fight. Because you have to understand that even two males fighting is ridiculous, immature, a bad influence are on the younger generation, and just plan dumb

Women may be weaker physically but in every other area, we are the stronger ones. If men had to have babies, people would be extinct.

It's not that he would see us as weaker but as a being that needs to be respected. Sure you know that guys are physically stronger than women but still you know.

If it's physical .... I say yes women are weaker. But you can't say mentally because what I see their is a lot of women who are stronger than males.

well i can understand that if the woman is smaller than the man, but my guy friends know better than to say that i'm weeker. guys are all i hang with and the only reason why they would beat someone over me is because they view me as a sister or a part of their crew and they don't want to see me get hurt.
