I do not have an experience of being otherwise, meaning that I do not know if I could be any happier without life.

And if you do not like funny answers, then this is the serious fact of my life so far that might also relate to your own. Imagine that you were born on the side of a river, the side that was relatively desolate and forlorn, there were little in the name of shade or shelter, whereas the other side across the river had all the things we need, and also the things you always wished to have, so you dreamed. You dreamed incessantly about being on the other side of life one day very soon. So much so that you could not wait for the tide to go down, and you could not afford to hitch a ride on fairy either. You young, high spirited, strong and bold, so you decided to swim you way through to the land of your dreams. Therefore one fine day you jumped right into the river but only to find out that the rapids were too fast for your strengths, currents too tricky to match your swimming skills and the water colder beyond all your reckoning, but you never gave up, you kept paddling, you kept fighting the waves, you dodged all the vortices of whirlpools along the way, and successfully made your way through eddies, until at last, you were closer to the other side than you were to the side where your perilous journey began. You could feel under your feet the sand of the riverbed, still shifting and running with the flows of the shallows. And then you choose to look behind and find yourself in utter disbelief upon a sight that would still send a shiver down your spine. And if asked, would you perform the same feat of courage again, you were sure that answers would be no.

We can be unhappy with our life only to a certain extent of our involvement, beyond which there are great regions of familiarity with life. There are always times when we realise the deeper meaningfulness of life beyond arbitrary divisions of happiness and unhappiness in the mind. If both sides of the river are but two aspects of the same life, one better and the other better still, then the river itself is not out of life either. As it is the vital part of the whole landscape, that we have as our life

Life in general requires our full involvement with all the courage we can muster, fortitude, forbearance, intelligence and unfailing ability to maintain hope, and faith. Whenever, I find myself momentarily in the clutches of sadness or sorrow, I know that this is not going to last, as I know for sure that all things pass. Beside, all that I have, or end up having, would never be without, or outside, the life that I have. I promise that if I stay loyal to myself, to my life, right now under all circumstances, then the moment next in life would also be mine, and what life that moment might unfold I can only hope to see.

I'm ecstatic! Not only do I have cooked meals, shelter, water, medical care, an education etc..But my life is so full of love - to not be happy would be criminal.
I have adoring parents, a wonderful big Sister who looks out for me & a beautiful set of friends .. I feel satisfied, complete. The opportunities and choices I have available are greater than most.
Right now, I'm sitting in a hotel room in Marrakech - the sweet breeze of the aircon gliding accross my face!
But theres no doubt that my happiness is due to those aroud me and their support - without them, I would be nothing.
Thank You
& Take Care

Yes. Happy to have a family like I have as I am a family person. Happy to have good friends, Happy to be able to pursue my studies. Happy what I can do to help others. Happy to marry my husband.

No.Unhappy to wait for 3.5 years, still waiting to have children. Unhappy to have bitchy in laws. Unhappy to be away from my family.

Apart from that like is just a trial you never know what is coming your way. You just need to be positive so that you can move on with your life and not ponder over it.

No way. Obviously there are some things that I know i am very lucky to have and experience everyday, but in general i would say that I'm not happy with my life.

Which sucks. But hey, i haven't been on this Earth long so i have many years ahead of me to turn that around.

I hope you are reasonably happy with your life :)

Not at the moment. But as I go through life and reflect on times past I notice that Happiness makes in height what it lacks in length. Tomorrow is another day.

Yes and No, at the moment i am because i have no exams now until university in September, but the amount of time to do nothing in is getting really boring, i simply can't function and stay happy with noting to do, when i was revising i had loads to occupy me but now i have had to suppress my boredom by reading book after book.

I sometimes think I'm in a bit of a rut, but as my granddad once said 'if it's a comfortable rut, don't complain'. I think I'm very happy compared to so many people and feel grateful for so much in my life.

Yep. Life is life. I tell myself that I have to be happy with it (even when it is stressful), because without it I wouldn't have the luxuary of being able to complain about it or by grateful for it.
