I think the the only way i would be able to go full vegetarian is if they discovered that all the meat in the whole world (including fish) was instantly deadly. I think then I'd have to give it up. I totally respect those that have the strength to give up all meat, but i think it's not right for me. I love animals too and i can't go hunting or anything like that. But I do believe that everything has a purpose on this planet.

I was a vegetarian from the age of 14 to 26. Ten I had a nervous breakdown and ate everything after that. Now I'm 28 and gone back to it.

If there were no animals left to eat. Seriously it might sound bad, but we are supposed to eat them. Just like cats and birds eat mice, we too eat others. It is the natural order. The food chain. I understand how animal cruelty may be the cause of why you quit eating meat, but what are you gonna' do, stop wearing shoes, not use a purse or wallet, stop playing football(and watching it on T.V, and not date anyone who plays), are going to stop playing tennis. You might not realize it but animals or their bi-products are involved in more aspects of our lives than just nutrition. I am not putting you down or anything, I am just putting stuff out there.

I have always loved meat and never thought i could be a vegetarian, no matter how bad i felt about eating meat. All the sudden 2 weeks ago, i couldn't eat this cheeseburger. I put it down and haven't eaten beef since. I just can't do it. I'll take it a step at a time, and hopefully become one. I just can't eat beef!

Eating animals isn't animal cruelty, it's the food chain. And you need meat for protein. I would never become a vegetarian.

I think if I ever saw an animal slaughtered right in front of me I would become a vegetarian. I love animals so when I eat meat I try to forget what I'm eating. lol

I enjoy meat too much to ever give it up.
I adore the people who won't eat meat because of animal cruelty yet they are more then happy to eat the fruits/veggies that migrant workers slave to pick/process....
Just because something is organic doesn't mean that the people who picked it for you were paid a fair wage instead of being illegal immigrants.

I would if there was a nuclear blast, and all of the animals were exposed to the radiation! I'd get me a grow light, and plant some veggies in the cave I'll be hiding in.
