Most computer users have been trained that if you want more speed for your computer, then add more memory. Well, this is true, in certain circumstances. But for most of the times, it really is just bad files in your registry files. Corrupted or missing registry files can make your computer too slow.
The registry is a main part of your computer's Operating System. With time, as you use Windows and install and uninstall programs, your registry will get congested and full of errors. So your computer could slow down. So, if you can clean it up this problem can be solved.Sometimes you can speed computer up by 300%. To clean up registry,You can download a software called regsitry cleaner---Clean registry, remnant, corrupt files and temp files,history,cookies,etc.. This site:

lists top 5 registry cleaner, you can download and scan for free.
Good luck!

You need to go out and get the upgrade. On my computer, WoW (and the BC expansion) takes up 7719MB. I got a new computer in October last year, but before I was running a Dell that was about 4 years old and it was lag hell. If you want to have any fun at all, you need to upgrade!

If your playing WOW you pretty much have to have a gaming computer with lots of memory and DSL. Without those by the time you get logged in you'd be dead. The game would outrun your systems ability to act.

Your computer is very slow, because there is barely any extra space on the computer, that it lags so much. I had the same problem, and that was because of too much capacity on the hard drive.
I would recommend buying a 1G memory.

you need more memory, plain and simple. if your new to WOW you should be ok wiht 1-1.5g of ram. For end game raiding and higher level instances you should get at least 2gs.
