To reintroduce an opinion of mine...
Like many people in general, Yahoo! believes that Softball is to Baseball as the WNBA is to the NBA, but the set of analogies really doesn't make much sense. For one, while there are some rule differences between the WNBA and the NBA, both leagues (for they are both individual leagues) are of the sport of basketball, whereas baseball and softball are not simply separate leagues, they are separate sports. Shocking to many people out there, softball and baseball have different rules, different strategies, methods, styles, etc. Fans of baseball and fans of softball, for instance, likely do
know that baseball and softball are somewhat different -- the most naive way that most people believe they are different is that "baseball is for boys, softball for girls." Though it might seem so at the higher levels, this is not just an inaccuracy, but furthermore, it is an incredibly closed view. Some people might further the difference as a "size of the ball," but obviously there is much more, in addition to the ball used, the distance between bases, the make-up of the infield, the method of delivering a pitch, whether the pitching circle is a mound or flat... Most people are familiar with the name "baseball," rather than "softball," and unceremoniously group the two words into the same sport -- the men's sport and the women's sport. Obviously, baseball and softball insiders know this is wrong, we know all to well, especially softballers, who end up living in baseball's shadow much of the time. An unfair reality, but it is because of baseball's greater popularity, and the world's relative unfamiliarity or lack of interest in the differences between the sports that, among other things, Yahoo! has not seen fit to create a Softball sports section in Answers.
I have seen softball questions posed in the Baseball section, and this is fine, but when I begin to read the answers to the softball question, I cringe -- these are baseball people, answering the question, as if it were asking about baseball. I am a sports official, and among other sports, I umpire baseball and softball, and they are very different, from an umpire's aspect. If I were to signal a strike on the Softball Field as I do on the Baseball Field, for instance, the meaning could be something different entirely. To rule on a play in Softball requires an entirely different reference frame than to rule on a similar play in baseball. For instance, obstruction can mean a different thing in either sport (though generally, they are quite similar). There is the issue of the baseball balk versus the softball illegal pitch. The issue of going to the mouth if you're a pitcher in baseball versus in softball. The differences are there, if only the world were to look.
You might also consider writing to Yahoo! Answers and telling them your suggestion of creating a Softball section in addition to the existing Baseball section -- Here's the link: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/product.html

Because there is no cause for it. They have the identical basics and there are simplest a number of variations. Lot's of persons are skilled in softball and will support you. (Such as yours definitely =) They are commonly the identical factor. I used to suppose that method however it is greater if they're in combination.
