Being employeed is never going to be enough. We match our life style to what we can get paid. It is never worth it. Once you transition your thought process to how can I, instead of I can't because your world starts to change. For me I decided to do what I can on a regular basis to get out of the job rut and become self employeed. Once you have transitioned your start to work towards the level of income and life style you want VS what is dictated to you by working for a company. Our enconomy would be much stronger if more people stop begging for pay checks and started providing jobs and living a better life. A life you have chosen.

I was working as a Bricklayer. The money would have been totally worth it but had a change in heart for what I want to for a career in life. I am currently thinking of what that is though.

Right now I'm on the job hunt, and it's taken longer than I expected. My unemployment benefits are about to run out, and I'm ready to get back to work. So, when I do land a job I feel comfortable saying:

Yes, the money is/will be worth it.

I love my job and I wouldn't change it if you payed me double.
I look after pre-school children and work term times the same as the school. I'm currently on holiday for 7 weeks (with pay) so I can be at home with my own children. It's great

its worth it only because my job is super easy with hardly any supervision and it seldomly gets stressful. its a JOB, but not a career. ok for the moment, but i wont be here forever.
