Padres or Dodgers?

I hope it is the Dodgers. They are hanging in there despite the rash of injuries, hopefully they will surge foward once everyone returns. I think they can secure a wildcard if not.

I think you are looking at the division winner and the wild card in your two selections. I would have to go with the Dodgers by a game or two over the Padres for no other reason than I am a Dodger fan. It could go the other way but the bottom line is that I believe they both go to the playoffs.

I have to go with the Dodgers. They are a lot better hitting team, and their pitching staff is just as good if not better at times. The Padres will win the wildcard though.

This will be a close one. The Padres have great pitching. Peavy and Chris Young both have ERA's around 2.15. They also have a great bullpen with Hoffman, Meredith, Bell, etc... But they have a terrible offense. Brian Giles has declined tremendously, and they have no true slugger. I am going to give it to the Dodgers by a couple of games because the Dodgers are a more well-rounded team.

The Dodgers cause they have the lead now and i don't think they're looking back. But I do think the padres will win the NL wild card!!

Dodgers. They are a better hitting team. The Pads have a better team ERA but they are hitting 241 which is last in the NL. The dodgers currently have the best batting avg as a team and are 4th in ERA. Plus I think the Dodgers will make a strong push to pick up a power hitter before the deadline.

the padres have a better pitching staff and a better closer so they will win the west over the dodgers.

the padres, good pitching but they need one more starting pitcher and one more bat, anyway they are going to win the division
