Girl, I'm going thru a similar experience. I'm actually only 2 1/2 months, after I told my boss I was pregnant because i thought it was the right thing to do, he has been finding little errors in my job and always has something to say, when before i was pregnant he always talked about how great my work was. My opinion is you should talk to your boss and let them know that you dont appreciate the way he/she is talking to you. BUT DO NOT QUIT, thats what he/she probably wants so you wont get the benefits of taking three months off when your baby is born knowing that your job will still have to be there when you come back. See a lot of bosses find excuses to get rid of pregnant employees by pushing them to quit, DONT FALL FOR IT, GIRL! Save money now, so that you can find a new job after your baby is born, and after you have enjoyed your three months of leave. Remember you have to be employed at most companies for 12 months in order for you to legally get leave when your child is born.

If you are in the US most states do not offer disability for pregnancy. Washington State is in the planning stages, but it will most likely be several years before it goes through. I would talk to someone at your local unemployment office. Stress on the job can be an excuse to get unemployment, but you only get up to 26 weeks, and you do not get your full wages, only a percentage. FMLA only covers 12 weeks, and that is ONLY if there are more than 50 employees, and you have been employed for at least 12 months. After thinking about this more, your boss may be yelling at you as a way to get you to quit so they don't have to hold your job for you. I would talk to HER boss or HR and lodge a formal complaint.

u don't need to be in that kind of enviroment no matter what. I do think she may be yelling at you so u get fed up with it and leave since u are pregnant n its against the law to let u go if she does that. Its harrassment. And depending on how long u've been at the job then yes u can get unemployment benefits not sure about disability though.

If you quit, you cannot receive unemployment. If you are unemployed, you cannot get temp disability (you must be employed to receive that). I was 4 month pregnant when I got laid off - I am receiving unemployment for now because I cannot receive disability once my baby comes (and no one wants to hire me at the moment :(

Good luck to you - tell you boss to chill or your doctor may put you out on leave early that he/she will have to pay for.

The disability laws differ from state to state so check into that. In most states, you get nothing. If you quit, no you do not get unemployment. Does your boss have a boss? If so, then go to them and complain.

as long as you were employed i think 4 weeks before the baby was born then you should be able to collect disability, but i would look into your state laws about it before you do it. see if ur doc will pull you out of work for a little bit. just to give you a break.

tell your boss, that you do not appreciate the way she is speaking to you and that you find it inappropriate. If she continues to do so, take the matter to her superior.

some people think because they hold a higher position then you, they can speak to and treat people any way they want without consequences...

It depends on what she is saying and doing, whether or not it can be considered harassment.

you best bet it to talk to you HR department to see what their guidlines are as far as maternity leave.

If the boss is causing the baby undue stress talk to your docter and if they determine that you are stressed, you can apply for a leave. Good Luck to you!!

Tell your doctor and ask him for a note that says you cannot be under any stress, doctor's orders. Your doctor WILL do this for you if you ask. All you have to do is ask. Then if they don't like it and fire you, then you can draw unemployment.

You need to take a break off work, especially if you are under stress.
