I have a lot of cervical mucus, but there is no odor, I don't itch down there either and my period is only two days late. I don't want to get excited yet- but I'm not sure if I should take anything if it isn't an infection and is actually pregnancy. Is there any way besides an HPT test to tell the difference? I just had a miscarriage 2 months ago :( and my hormones are all messed up so the HPT wouldn't be accurate. Thanks much

a miscarriage 2 months ago should not effect a pregnancy test.. By this point, there should not be any HCG in your system to give you a false positive result.

You can ask your doctor for a quantative blood test. This is the most accurate test in detecting pregnancy.

If there is no foul odor with the discharge, that is a good indicator that you do not have an infection.

If you do choose to take an HPT, wait about a week after your missed period, and use your first morning urine, it is the most accurate.

To dogowner, I have also seen dog who experience labour pains same as real pregnancy. If you think your dog is having a false pregnancy it may be for the best to have a vet check her then have her spayed,
