And please, no left over 60's democratic dogma stuff, and please, no "conservative" pious morality issues and "flag burning is bad" stuff. I said vision, not get out the populist vote drive stuff.

You should really check out Ron Paul. I know, just hear me out. He's the only candidate who wants to take us back to Constitutional rights of the people. (isn't it sad that that's a radical idea these days?) Ron Paul has real vision for the us, not this pre-packaged nonsense these drones-I mean candidates- are feeding us. Ron Paul will stop spending money on superfluous programs and departments, such as the Department of Homeland Security.

Check out some of his voting history and policies at the link below.

I seriously think Ron Paul is the only candidate that is in favor of real change, not only in how we spend money (as others have pointed out), but also with the idea that we should have a non-interventionist foreign policy (i.e. don't get involved unless we are directly threatened).

Most of the other candidates seem to want to keep with the status quo, at least to some degree.

Yes, that no Republican will be elected to the White House not this time or any other time. The Democrat Hillary Clinton will show you her vision and new direction for our country. There will never be another Republican elected to the White House , the Republican Party is dead George Bush killed it , it will never be reincarnated.

I think Obama does. Whether he can achieve his vision is unlikely, given the way politicians are bought and paid for.

I'm going for Thompson. He's not a DC bigshot trying to hold onto power. A breath of fresh air, as it were.

Why not?
