Ignore all rained-out and re-started games. I am not asking about the number of innings but the amount of time in hours and minutes. Who played against whom? Who won? If you can, how many innings?

Home team: Chicago White Sox
Visitors: Milwaukee Brewers
Date: May 09 1984
Innings: 25
Length: 8 hours & 6 minutes

The game began on May 08 but according to MLB rules an inning cannot begin after 12:59 AM so the players and fans had to come back the next day.

The overall game time was 8 hours 6 minutes with Chicago finally winning 7- 6 on Harold Baines' home run in the 25th inning.

Dodger games are always interesting because the final attendance will generally be pretty high and between 85 and 100 percent of the stadium is paid for. But between the first and third innings, the stadium often looks barely half full...it fills up by the fourth and depending on how the game is going, those fans leave in the seventh sometimes. I hear they have awful traffic and parking issues there.
