I'm just not sure what to think. My hubby and I have been together for 7 years, not married but together, probably having sex for 6 years. I've been wanting to have sex a lot lately and hes been turning me down! Whats up with that? Is something going on or do men really not want sex sometimes??

The same happened to me we had sex a lot then got married....lol
You need to let him know that you feel rejected when he turns you down all the time and yes men really do not want sex all the time. But, it is really hard going from sex to no sex. So either you need to get him to work on it or be prepared for it the rest of your life....Sorry

I am 32yrs old and I would have sex everyday if I could. I have a similar situation but reversed. My wife and I have been married 9 yrs and we don't have sex very much. I think that it seems weird that your husband is turning down sex. Has there been any changes such as weight gain, children, or age? Though these things might help explain it I would say talk to your husband and ask him why he is turning you down. Maybe his sex drive has decreased or maybe there is a more serious problem and you should see a therapist. Good Luck!

He probably has been turning down sex with you because he knows that he can "get some" whenever he wants with you so he just doesn't bother. But if I were married I probably would have sex every other day or about 3-4 times a week.

It is a biological imperative that men need variety in sex. That is why topless bars abound and the internet is awash with porn. It is a fact of life. It is not that he does not like or want you, but he is bored, and don't take that personally. He would eventually get bored with a pornstar. What to do about it is another matter.

there can be many thing that can make a man not wont it .. work stress, ED, new playmate, most of the time it work stress and he need some down time so he can start thinking about you. to see if this is what going on start writing him love notes in lunch or email start doing sexy thing around the house and see if he look at you ask him to take a shower with you. this should turn him around if it does not you may have a medical problem and he may not like talking about it. and if that not it then he may be Girl on the side .. Hope this helps.

Perhaps he's been stressing lately about work? Maybe their is some kind of social tension going on with the family or with you? These kind of things can turn us off.
Or, perhaps he's just not in the mood. I personally don't feel like doing it every day. And then sometimes I want to do it everyday...
Talk to him about it? Make some hints your really interested in it? Buy some new lingerie?

Thinking about it right now in some form. I have never understood women saying their man doesn't want to have sex. (Thinking about it again). He may be tired or stressed from his job and that may affect his energy level. (another thought about it). I have been a little tired to initiate it but have never had the desire to turn it down. (thought about it again).
Hopefully that answers your question. All guys think about it, some are just better at hiding it...or lying. Ask him what;s going on. Communication is key in a marriage.

Older men actually turn it down quite often. He may be busy are pre-occupied with things in his life. You need to be more aggressive and take charge,since you are the one wanting itmore.

Maybe try some new things. Sometimes sex can be just like brushing your teeth or taking a shower. It gets mundane. Same old, same old.
