I get one of those little cornish hens at the grocery store and cook it in the crock pot over night in some water, butter, and some herbs & spices, then I take it out and pull the meat off and throw away the bones, I then cook the homemade noodles in the broth and add the cooked chicken I pulled off the hen. He loves it, and he only gets it when he's sick. But sometimes when he's really really sick, I just make him jello because it's easy to keep down. His fav. flavor is the berry blue kind.

I'll make him some toast or heat up a can of chicken noodle soup. Don't worry, it'll be the organic kind.

My husband is only allowed to have romaine lettuce and fresh made fruit juices when he is sick. Of course, we don't eat too different from that anyway, so he rarely gets sick...

I cook him whatever he wants whether he is sick or not, because I am good like that and I love him. Not because I am a subservient footstool.

My husband always get homemade chicken noodle soup or chicken and dumplings. I've got to keep him well because he has to work. It's the least that I can do.

He's usually not hungry, but I'll make whatever he wants. I also buy canned chicken soup without telling him since he says he doesn't want it. But he sees it and snarfs it right down. Men. So finicky. :)
