how can you hear the leaf fall? gravity does not make noise, unless there was some serious wind resistance, still just a leaf, now if no one was around to SEE it fall then changes things. if the leaf mattered as it was still on the tree then it matters when it falls. and it matters to the person who has to rake up said leaves

it would matter to the leaf
It would matter to the tree tht the leaf fell from
its just another leaf, another dead leaf crumpling on the ground, tht means nothing to life....yet life means everything to it.

If a tree fell in the woods and nobody heard it. Would it make a sound?
It would create ripples in the air whether anyone was there or not.
