Question on Sci-fi movie made in the 90's???

Question

There is a move that was made in the early 90's about people in the future where the sport is where these people would climb into giant robots and battle (sorta Power Ranger-ish) Does anyone know the name of this movie???

...although you're definately referring to the 1990 theatrical sci-fi actioner, entitled "Robot Jox", you might want to make note of two other films, which utilized the same production & special effects people, and depict quite similar storylines; they are:

"Robot Wars", from 1993 (direct-to-video)

"Crash and Burn", from 1990 (direct-to-video)

...unfortunately, thus far, only "Robot Jox" has found itr's way to DVD; the others...well, we'll just have to stay tuned...

...not surprised to see these films being rediscovered/revisited, after the release of "Transformers";
