Wow, I never thought of global cooling before. I guess I would rather have the earth to get a little warmer than for it to freeze over. I'm not really panicking over global warming, I try to think about it as little as possible and hope that scientists can come up with a way to slow it down.

Haven't you heard, we all froze to death in the early 80s.

Yes, the same ilk currently screaming global warming was screaming about an impending ice-age in the 70s... Oh yeah and don't forget the ozone depletion and the certain death we all faced from skin cancer by the turn of the millennium.

It is all garbage designed to install some form of legislation to shutdown industrialized nations.

Hate to be a smart alec but there is global cooling caused by aircraft trails. After 9/11 when everything was grounded they measured the ambient temperature in California and it rose by 3-3.8degC.

Honestly, both of 'em suck--fiery desert ball, or frozen wasteland--neither sound particularly appealing.

P.S. Global warming can trigger an Ice age by shutting down the flow of warm water through the North Atlantic Current which has already shown signs of weakening. Pyoo.

That will be next just like the mid 70s. Give it a few years and the cooling will start. I can't wait to hear what the Chicken Littles will say then.

That's why scientists primarily use the term "global climate change", since the effects (warmer or colder) are going to vary by global region.

I don't how they can predict global warming when they can't predict what the weather will be tomorrow. I'm serious
