Obviously most people's first attractions are to great looks or sex appeal, but once you dig deeper and get to know someone, you can easily find that you can fall in love with anyone, whether they're gorgeous or look like shrek.

You can love them, the physical part will be missing. They are not your type but somehow you love them like a sister or brother. So I dont' think you can be in love without having a physical attraction.

If you love and are in love with someone, you will find them physically attractive anyways.

Initially in a relationship there needs to be a Strong level of physical attraction. However, over time people change and in a strong relationship/marriage physical changes should be accepted and dealt with accordingly.

Yes you can be in love with them, sheesh is all people care about these days is physical attraction.. Its whats inside that matters, not their looks.

Absolutely you can. The difficult part is getting to know someone well enough to know that the physical attraction is secondary.

I don't think so, I think when you love someone you are also attracted to that person!!! I couldn't imagine being in love and not being attracted to that person!! No matter what the person looks like you think they are beautiful.

Yes you can initially, because very soon you will find him/her attractive even if that was not your first impression. Just tell yourself that he/she has a beautiful smile or some such thing and then try to make him/her do that (smile) at you often, You will soon realise you love him/her both for their personality and looks.

It's never happened to me personally. I fell in love with someone for their wit ,charm, intelligence and beautiful personality first, then their looks after the fact. I never found him unattractive, more so neutral. After I discovered what an amazing person he was, then I fell in completely in love. Now I think he is the handsomest man I have ever seen, I love every curve of his face and every inch of his person. Every time he smiles at me I melt.
