I have a filter allready so that wont be a problem. and i dont really need a flourestent light. its just a simple upgrade not a all out reconstruction.

If you buy everything separately it could get fairly spendy. The tank itself shouldn't be more than 10$ or so. But the hood/light combo can range in price from 15-30$ depending on quality, and type of lighting. The filter can range from 10-30$ as well. If you are just starting out with larger tanks, I would recommend the kit that walmart sells.
You get
-Tank
-Hood/Light
-Filter
-Heater
-Misc= Food, Net, maybe some decorations.

Thats probably the best option, unless you know exactly what you want.

10 gallon glass is very inexpensive. You will get more for less money at wal-mart. Make sure you get a fluorescent light hood. You can get everything but the fish for about $50.00

If you are getting the tropical kit, and then all the other good stuff (excluding fish), it costs about $120. The Goldfish kit is the same thing except without the heater and with different lighting. The Goldfish kit with other accessories is about $110. It is really worth it though.
