I have got to fit a pull cord extractor fan in my bathroom wall. Can I just connect 2core and earth from the fan to the pull cord light switch wiring or ceiling rose wiring or do I need a junction box. My bathroom has a flat roof so wiring on the ceiling is in trunking(not healthy). I know my bungalow hasnt a loop in circuit is there an elecy out there?

Call an electrician for bathroom wiring. Good luck.

To be safe, and meet modern code, your incoming power to the toilet should be GFI protected. I doubt if this is the case given your description, so a great deal of care is in order.
You need a line, (black), and a neutral, (White), to the switch on the fan control switch, and a ground to the fan frame or box.
The line and neutral will be found at the lamp box, (ceiling rose?), there should be a ground, (earth), there too. If what you describe as trunking is what the trade calls wiremold this may serve as the grounding conductor for that junction box.
Romex, (three core?), is not listed for exposed installation in a bathroom.
To do it right you need to extend the trunk, (wiremold), to a new box that will contain the connection to the fan.
The fan switch should be connected line side to the black (power), wire and load side to the fan.
The white wire, (neutral), goes to the fan.
The fan will probably have matching color wires white for neutral, black for power.
Sorry, that's as clear as I can make it.
From your description, it might really be best to get an electrician to correct the whole mess. Bathrooms and sketchy electrical installations are a bad mix.

Here is a link showing you how to wire it:

However, this work comes under Part P of the Building Regulations, which means you should either get a registered Part P electrician to do the work for you or inform your Local Authority Building Control beforehand.
They will then check that it has been wired correctly and issue you with a certificate.

for a pull string extractor fan you would need both phases ie:live and neutral, as a rule light switches and pull strings do not have a neutral, as long as the ceiling rose has a permanent feed and neutral then you can wire from this, however i strongly recommend that you should get a qualified electrician to advise you, as a bathroom is a special location and there are certain regulations (BS7671) you must comply with.

Don't mess with the wiring, especially in the bathroom. Get a qualified electrician in to do it for you. In the UK this type of work is no longer legal if you do it yourself, you need to get it done professionally or at least get a qualified electrician to survey it for you before you connect to the main 240V supply.

get an electrician if you do not know what you are doing. Ask yourself how much is your life worth? If it is not worth much than go ahead and do it. The whole thing should work no problem with your existing wiring.

You are potentially mixing water and electricity.

Best advised is to get a competant electrician to do the job.

Yes.

Just connect cable from nearest ceiling rose to pull switch.
