Yes, any plant that has the ability to pool water such as bromelaids, attracts them. I have some and I was watering from the top allowing water to rest in the center of the bromelaid. Then, I started noticing mosquitos flying out when I began watering each time! Now I water straight into the dirt.

Citronella plants and marigolds tend to work the best at repelling mosquitos.

Although for it to work the laves have to be crushed there is a geranium ==> mosquito plant.
