Has anyone ever said anything important in a soap.

I think what it is that they don't want to spill the truth to a major storyline just yet so in order to that. Characters can be getting to tell the truth but once they start to say something they create another way to throw off what is about to be reveal so thats when another character comes in and starts talking about something else.

Some storylines can go on and on for about two weeks or maybe more or less before the actual character gets the chance to reveal what he or she knows. Thats when the interruption stops.

Now I could be wrong though but I have seen some soaps that have characters getting ready to tell the truth and they get cut off before they can say anything. I guess that is what they call Cliffhanger Friday's on Soapnet and also on regular televison. The day to reveal the truth.

I even have been asserting this for years. Kudos to you for asserting it too. Why do they do it?! Do they interrupt the championship basketball tournaments or baseball worldwide sequence. some individuals cost our soaps purely like some human beings cost their tournaments, however the soaps are constantly getting the shaft. I do could say yeah for the cleansing soap channel that replays the thoughts at evening or on the weekend, so as that way if my Y & R gets interrupted by making use of yet another republican fact, i'm able to seize the definitely cleansing soap in an prolonged time interior the day.

Lol yeah,I noticed that every time like if they're about to ring a helpline someone will walk through the door and they have to put the phone down,or if a child is about to tell their parents something important another adult interrupts just when they say the first letter.

To keep us in suspense and make us mad. I get so upset when someone is about to spill their guts and then they get interrupted. And it usually happens at the end of the day or the week and it drives you crazy to wait and see how it's gonna turn out. The writers definitely know how to keep us hooked.

It's to build suspense and keep the story running longer.

It makes it more interesting, it makes you want to watch it more to find out what happens. Not to mention the writers have to stretch the scene for time.lol
