I think they are going to be good but not as good as the original movies by Tim Burton... But I think that Heath Ledger going to be a good Joker but could never out do Jack Nicholson...

I think Batman Begins is by far the best superhero movie ever made. Christopher Nolan (the director) really managed to ground the story and make it more realistic. Not only that but the writing was incredibly well done and had the depth so many movies are missing. Not only that but it had a strong emotional core to it.
I loved how they finally showed how and why he became Batman, above just saying that his parents had been killed by a street criminal.
I am very much looking forward to The Dark Knight, the sequel. If it is half as good as Batman Begins it will be a real experience.

I really don't mind that there remaking the batman movies, but they will never be better then the original ones. I think no one could out do Jack Nicholson at the joker. He's the best!!!!!

The Burton Batman's are definitely the best. While I'm not getting my hopes up, I think the only way the new versions could compete is if they went in an entirely different direction with the characters (like Joker).

The Dark Knight is exactly that....so there is no re-make, and Nolan the director personally picked Heath ledger to play the Joker....this is not your Dad's Joker, Nolan was quoted as Ledger is "fearless"....and we will get a glimpse of Harvey Dent....to set up the 3rd installment. This is brilliant....I cannot wait!

Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors. However,his movies were closer to the TV show than the comic book.
The new Batman movies follow the original story line, which to me, is something that should have been done to begin with.
So, as much as I like Tim Burton's Batman, I like the new Batman more.

Its dumb to remake them they are not that old and you cant put any better effects in them. Second to even think Ledger who by the way is a good actor and does have the facial features is going to even be close to jack is just dumb Nicholson was made for that part. So i hope they are descent but i doubt they will be as good as their originals.

first off they arent remaking them. they are going by the comic book based on t he dark knight comics. and they are doing it all on how he has beome batman and they first few years of him being batman. meaning the joker is going to be totally diffrent. and personally i dont know how wel heath will be i hope he does an awesome job. i love batman begins it has been the best batman movie ever made.
