A carry-on? I usually bring a magazine, a bottle of water (buy it in the airport after you go through security), a book, chapstick, a sweatshirt and moisturizer.

I live in Orlando and have a child and go to the parks a lot. You might want to bring one of those fans that blow water when you pull the trigger, it is getting hot this weekend and the parks are busy, so the wait can be long and hot. Also if you are a gum chewer, take a lot of gum because Disney does not sell gum anywhere on the entire Disney property. Bring lots of money and if you want to eat at a decent restaurant at any park, especially Epcot, be sure to make a reservation to eat at the place a few days in advance or you won't be eating anything decent. I find that disposable cameras are better than digital cameras unless your digital is a low budget one that you could care less about. Flip flops are essential or comfortable walking shoes. When you go into the parks figure out what ride you really want to ride and go there immediately and get a "fast pass" for that ride. The popular rides tend to run out of fast passes early in the day. Stay for the fireworks especially at Hollywood Studios and Epcot..>>HAVE FUN

All liquid items must be 3 oz. or less & all of them must fit into a 1 small, sandwhich sized Ziplock bag.
For a long flight I bring: 1)hand sanitizer 2) eye drops 3) lip balm 4) saline nose spray because my nose gets dry on the plane 5) chewing gum to help my ears pop 6) Dramamine or crystalized ginger to combat motion sickness & 7) a few Kleenex
For entertainment, I'd bring an i Pod & a few magazines.

They call it a travel on bag. I would put a couple of snacks with drinks. A good book and 2 magazines. A mp3 player or a cd player. Have like a puzzle book (like sudoku). Bring your cell phone to play games on that. Bring a blanket and a pillow(they really dont clean the pillows and blankets.)

I always make sure I have a good lip balm. My personal fav. is Burts Bees in a tin. I travel 4 times per month, and it's the only thing I absolutely must have with me.

It's called a carry-on and I suggest you chew gum when taking off and landing so your ears are less likely to pop. I usually take my cd case and cdplayer. Also a book thats all you'll need (or at least thats all I need).
