Take a look at your carburator, if walburo style, there are a lot of different size carb's. Perhaps you do not have the largest. Note, take your carb to a Radio Control shop, as GOOD ONE, and compare to the carbs on the gas engines used on rc airplanes. There are single cylinder rc airplane engines twice your size. Good Luck.

Larger engine, or higher compression piston. You can also change the gearing, if you are looking for faster acceleration or if you want higher top end. It will be a trade-off. If you gain on one then you will lose on the other.
