There was a flick named "Canadian Bacon" with the late John Candy and Rhea Pearlman.
Does this stereotype, so commonly projected bear any real SIGNIFICANT Truth?

I've known some canadians and mainly you are right. That's not a bad stereotype. EH

It is just what it is a stereotype but has roots in history. The American Constitution gives its citizens the right to bear arms whereas the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom does not.

I'm Canadian and yes the stereotype exists.

Unfortunately it is not true.

Montreal does have the best looking women in the world however.
