I have a 1997 Mercury Tracer and I'm looking at these headlight bulbs, but I want to make sure they'll work ok and won't do any damage since they're more powerful than the standard ones:

Nokya Arctic White Pro-Halogen bulbs
Bulb Type: 9007
Wattage (draw): 45/55
Wattage (output): 100/120
Color: Arctic White
Color Temp: 7000K

Xenon Gas-Filled
Hyper White
12V
5000K
100/80-Watt

xenon-gas filled don't give off the heat halogen lights do. Xenon-gas filled would be the best choose.

They may generate too much heat and melt other components. There is also the question of alignment.

Put them in, if you want. If you have problems then put the old ones back in. Just watch them close while you are trying them.

Sorry. Modifying from factory original would be illegal, especially with those bulbs. The factory installed ones have a self leveling system to protect other drivers, your aftermarket would not have that.
