I wouldn't say hate because there are so many better words... disappointment, outrage, etc. Anyway, here's my guess:
No matter what polling data you go by, the numbers are low for Bush and Congress, meaning a majority of the US is dissatisfied. People on YA are already on the Internet where they can look up articles that don't get coverage in the mainstream media, especially TV news. The internet also gives access to 'historical' data so people can compare something said five years ago that is contradicted by recent actions. YA is a forum where people express their opinions and if YA reflects the US overall, you're going to see a majority of dissatisfaction. Free speech... use it or lose it!

Well about72% of the population think he is doing a bad job, so that should translate to about 72% here. I don't hate Bush, I dislike him because he was wrong to go into Iraq, and he won't see it thousands of Americans have died from his actions, and even in the face of overwhelming evidence he will not admit even now it's was a mistake. The closest he has come is saying the troubles in Iraq came about because the generals told him they didn't need any more troops. He blamed the situation in Iraq on the generals. I could list many, many more things he's done that I don't like, but this is the biggest reason.

I think that it is difficult for me to take this question seriously since there are so many questions that go into such detail and you have sort of ignored them all. There are some great questions and answers on impeachment, Iraq, the environment, and on and on.
One thing that comes to mind is that according several people who used to work for him, he was on the verge of starting the Iraq war when Bandar Bush had to tell him the difference between the Sunnis and Shia. In other words, he didn't know squat about Iraq and why we were going in there and what potential problems there were. And his arrogance led him to such folly.

Bush has done more to expand the power and influence of the government over the people than any president since FDR. Power is inevitably abused. Americans have sad days ahead unless they take power back from the "rulers". No, I don't expect that any of the major presidential candidates, D's or R's, have any plans to roll back any of the powers they inherit.

Bush is the worst president in history and a symbol of all that is wrong with usa. bush is a model of hypocrisy, preaching democratic values (to Iraqis) and helping start sectarian strife, complaining about human rights abuses all over his axis of evil whereas the worst abuses occur in Guantanamo an Abu Ghraib, and preaching power to the people when all americans know they are powerless to stop him sending more troops to Iraq only to get killed by mortar attacks while he rides around in armoured cars. No wonder bush is a loser and all hate him.
Big government, corporate toadism, reckless defense spending at the cost of improved healthcare, education and Social Security, poor treatment of war veterans, bad management of natural disasters like Katrina, nepotism in all levels of govt. appointing his sycophants to important posts, pardoning Libby, authorising eavesdropping as counter-terrorism, the list goes on and on.

I think it's because many have liberal interests and President Bush is a man of his word, stands by the decisions he makes, and that irritates them.

We have lost respect in the world, he not only says and does empty things, he lies about it, as in the WMDs and AlQaida in Iraq before the war, and he tends to believe what he wants to and discount what doesn't fit his plans, like Iraq getting yellowcake in Niger, and the war will pay for itself with oil exports, and we will be greeted as liberator.
He calls everyone who disagrees with him unpatriotic, by doing so he confuses patriotism with support for his views.
He cut taxes for the rich, and did so while waging war, leaving the bills for this war to be paid by the middle class after he leaves, thats pretty dishonest.
Hate is a strong word, so is love, and I love my country and I hate to see what hes done to it.
