You probably want to be part of things, but feel like you are on the outside. If you are new somewhere, like school, or college, or a new town, you have to talk to people and get to know them. You cannot really love people unless you find out what they are like first. Give yourself time and I hope you find happiness soon.

trust me i know what your talking about. i have my sister in law living with me and i also have my siblings which there are eight of them and my own four kids and three grandkids. when ever there is a problem with one of them i always help even if i dont think i should but ido. i know in the long run god will take care of me. but, i wish that they would say thank you a little more and i would feel like i was worth something. like i am just not being used but helpful for good reasons. trust me dont let them take you for granted and tell people how you feel so you can get a little respect for your sincerity. keep up the good work and thanks for being a descent person in the world we need more of them. dee

When we give to someone, we are supposed to do this
expecting nothing in return, you sound like a very kind hearted human, there are so few in the world, i love
people who are givers, don;t expect anything back .
However alot of people think that kindness is weakness this
is so untrue, Give freely without expectations and you won"t
be disppointed. If someone is taking advantage of your
kindness, move on, there is much selfishness in the world, beware of ' the takers" there is alot of them, I believe that a very loving spirit see"s your good deeds and that you will be rewarded, SO I SAY, KEEP ON GIVING AND FEEL GOOD AOUT YOU. GOOD LUCK

First of all you have to love yourself. Maybe there's a few changes you may want to make such as attitude. But regardless of how nice you are there's always gonna be people who don't like you. That's just the way life is.

Love yourself. It's okay to love people as long as your not being taken advantage of. Alot of people are not as capable of loving. Love on!!! And when you Love yourself, as you are, first, the RIGHT people will accept your love and love you back!!
P.S. I know, I too am in the same boat. This is something I tell myself to help. It usually works!

We are all the victims of our expectations..deriving satisfaction from whatever we do. You seek pleasure from the wealth you possess..the same way you are seeking satisfaction from helping others. Your satisfaction is important here...you do it just for yourself. We need to observe this, "why do we seek satisfaction from whatever we do?" Wgen you seek that you want it for yourself. You are not doing it for others...you are becoming aggressive now..."I am doing it for others...why are they not reciprocating this". Isn't it true? Do you have fear that if you are not recognised you are branded by society as 'no one'. Are you scared of the fact that if you are no one in society your life is useless. A fear is there inside you..recognise the fear. Why are you so scared...after all fear is the outcome of your thoughts...thought that always tells you, "you will be empty if you are recognised by the society".

It is who you are. You assist without even thinking about it.
You must figure a way to balance your true self with a deteriorating world. This goes against your nature, but it is necessary for your well-being.

Strange, isn't it. Sometimes the nicer you are to people, the more they will take advantage of you. I can't quite figure that out for you, but don't feel you are alone in feeling that way.
