I want to use my own ASP.NET webserver via my PC's
hard drive. I want someone to tell me the URL (not the
SDK) of where and how I can download and install
on my PC, so can you provide me with the URL?
When I had NT it was free, ever since using
Vista on my new laptop and now got rid
of NT, I can't use it anymore. Is there a
free add-on available for Vista? I
want to host a website and
server on my IP address,
I was currently using
WAMP until it froze
my hardware and
became a bug,
it never ever
worked.
Please,
help!

I am running Windows Server 2008 beta, why doesn't the website display from my outer IP address?

I have downloaded IIS 7.0, found it.
Still not working, not even HTML or
PHP (NEW! Compatible add-on).

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=56FC92EE-A71A-4C73-B628-ADE629C89499&displaylang=en or
http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/f/?en/Library/42b0d059-dd84-4aa8-be26-dbeaa2d971ac1033.mspx
but since you're using vista
you could wait for
Windows Server 2008.
reformat then install Windows Server 2003

Sorry, but you'll need Windows Server 2003 if you want to run IIS 6.0. You can't run it on a workstation.
