Their best chance to win one in the last 100 years might just be this year. The Cubs have a good solid team and could do some damage in the playoffs if they could just get there. Just like most other teams, they could use some pitching help down the stretch and that could prove difficult to find. I believed the Cubs have turned to corner and it looks like they could be solid for years to come.

I read they found a Dead Sea scroll that said the Cubs were not permitted to win a World Series championship until the Cleveland Indians win one. In other words, get to the back of the bus, Cubbies!

You can't say they won't because the Cubs have a large revenue and loyal fans. They will get good players, they will hit a string of good luck, they won't have fan interference in a crucial playoff game and they break through the adversity and win the World Series!

yeah, they should make to World Series as need to capture the championship that don't have win it yet in nearly 100 years since 1908.

I'll say sometime in the next 10 years or so....
they have a nice core of mid-aged players like Ramirez, Lee, and Soriano.... all they need is some solid pitching besides Zambrano

I think that it's almost impossible for them NOT to. They have to be due sometime over the next 100 years! If not, that would be the worst championship drought ever through any sport!
