I want the democrats to win as much as any other democrat... and the only way we're going to have any chance against the Republican nominee will be the southern moderate Democrat John Edwards (currently only 12% of Democrats prefer Edwards). Not the widely hated and contriversial Hillary Clinton. We managed to screw up 2004...(i still don't see how) This time we can't let the same thign happen. please.

We allowed ourselves to screw up the last election because we though we didn't have to blow those swift boaters up in the last election, we though people would be smarter than that, but we learned you can't underestimate them. Kerry gave them three uninterrupted weeks to slander him and lie about him and every other person who received medals in Viet Nam, if we can't learn to fight back from that crap we will still have problems, just truth isn't enough any more in our
ENQUIRER society.
If nothing else Hillary knows this, and she and Bill have a crack team of refuters at the ready 24/7. They will need it.

All the polls show Hillary winning over every Republican challenger. What are your worried about? Edwards is a fine candidate, but barring major surprises, he has no chance of winning the nomination. If you're so concerned about a Democrat winning, why not focus your efforts on those people who arent' quite sure they're ready for a woman as president? One of the mistakes Democrats keep making is to run candidates as much like Republicans as possible. Let's not be afraid to stand up for what we truly believe!

I'm not exatly sure what you're talking about. The thing is, most of DNC wants Hilary, she has experience, is a woman, and has Bill. Edwards really doesn't appeal to anyone outside of the south. He really isn't all that experienced or anything special other than that looks and voice. I myself am a fan of Hilary, but even if people wanted an alternative to her, it wouldn't and shouldn't be Edwards, it'd be Obama.
