Yes, in the Marines.
It felt like I fell forever, but the shoot opened pretty quickly.
I've even jumped out of a helicopter.

In Milwaukee there is a place that will take you. Its very expensive but if there is enough people in the group it gets cheaper. My friends nad I joined a group and it became affordable. I was really psyched about it. Then a bunch of us were out and a tv at the place was showing sky diving accidents and we watched it.
Many of the guys dropped out and I couldn't afford it anymore:(
Then I met my future Ex wife and havn't thought of it until now.
It would have been a blast though. I like to be scared. So few things scare me though. I just laugh my *** off when I am though and yell MORE!

During WW2. Can't tell you how far the free fall was, because I was too scared to worry about statistics at that point. I swore I would never do that again, and I kept my promise made all those years ago,

Not me, fear of heights! My son just retired from the 10th Mountain Rangers at Fort Drum New York and of course he has, as has my grand son who is also a Army Ranger.
