Anyone can answer but I would like someone who was a teen in the 80's preferably. What did you think of her prom dress that she made? What did people, guys and girls think of the dress when they first saw it in the 80's? Was it a hit or miss? My friend and I were watching it and was commenting on some of the dresses and thought some of them were okay, but her's was awful! It was really boxy on her and just didn't look nice. I really want to know from someone who was a teen in the 80's and watched the movie when it first came out though of it and what everyone else though of it. Was it a "must have dress."

I can tell you this much. I picked a dress that I liked. Because some of dresses from the 80's strange looking. I watch all the movies from the 80's. I even went through Madonna thing where I dressed like a Material Girl. There were some dresses that were a must have. But being a teen from the 80's. I'm glad it is over with now......

It's an awful, awful dress even for the 80's. I never wore any dresses like that. My mom made all mine and my sister's dresses and her prom dress was as pretty as everyone elses.

It was bad...I don't understand why she would wear that. It just looked bad. Looks like it was her first time making a dress and didn't follow her measurements closely.
