Like Twisted Ace says you'll need someone in the cab with you to show you how.

I didn't think there were any Eaton TS 12s still on the road. Fodens were not the best installation of this box, that went to its neighbour ERF. Basically Do Not over- rev in each gear before changing up - you only have about 300 rpm per gear to change up without cocking it up,. Only use clutch for pulling away, Select "1st", then 3rd switch position, pull away as normal, 'pre select switch to position 2,lift off throttle & select "2nd",then straight back on power, select next appropriate gear all the way up box to 12. Down changes are a piece of p..s, pre-select, lift off power & straight back on. Once mastered they are the best box in the world, get it wrong .........Dont be afraid to experiment on various block changes --- Used correctly , not many trucks can keep up when accelerating, even fully freighted!!

Yup, used to drive one - but it's next to impossible to explain how on an internet forum. You will actually need some-one with you in the cab to show you.

Suffice to say, when you get it right you will only need to use the clutch to pull away, and stop. Very satisfying!
