First Unplug the oven and then cut a potatoe in half and push the cut side into the socket and unscrew the bulb base, wear gloves, if this doesn't work try using needle nose pliers to work it out, vacuum the glass out if the oven and replace bulb, and plug it back in, You can use the breaker to turn off the power.

Unplug the Oven or turn off the circuit breaker. Then cut the end off of a potato and push over the broken light base, then unscrew the light. If the base is in too tight for the potato, then use needle nose pliers and grip the edge of the base and unscrew the light.

As stated, turn off the power. A carrot works as good as a potato. Needlenose pliers work well for this also. Just make sure you grab only the bulb base and not the socket.

Try the half potato method.
If that doesn't work (you DID unplug the power, RIGHT?), get a SMALL screwdriver, and deform the metal screw part of the bulb inwards, so you can grip it with needle-nosed pliers and screw it out.

Turn the power off....and if your vegetables and pliers don't work, go to a hardware and get a broken base tool......we sell them where I work...they are for that purpose....about $3
