of course i have regrets; everybody does, but i use them to better myself, to learn from them. it's a much better idea than dwelling on the past. good luck with everything.

The one and only regret i have is that i didn't come out when i was younger. I've talked about this with my counselor and she told me that maybe that wasn't the right time for me to come out, she said maybe now is the right time and that's why i waited until after i turned 50 to come out of the closet. I see the truth in that, but that would be my only regret, everything else i would keep the same!

No regrets here. Regrets are looking into the past, and that's not where our minds should be. Yes, we should remember our mistakes so that we learn from them, and hopefully we do not repeat them. The only thing I can see regretting is something you never did or tried. I like this quote from Alexander Graham Bell..."When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us." And remember, "worry looks around, regret looks back, but faith looks up!"

I don't have regrets, because when something happens, it's for a reason, and you shouldn't dwell on past things if there's nothing you can do to change them. You can change your future, but not your past. To quote the movie RENT: "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss."

i couldn't resist posting the lyrics to a favorite song of mine, once sung by frank sinatra and many others.
it's entitled 'my way'
my husband and i loved it so much, we handed out the 45 record of it as our wedding favor in 1976.
MY Way
And now the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I've travelled each and every highway
and more, much more than this
I did it my way
Regrets I've had a few
But then again too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each chartered course
Each careful step along the by-way
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
Yes, there were times
I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all
And I stood tall
And did it my way
I've loved, I've laughed, and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
"Oh no, oh no, not me
I did it my way"
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way
Yes, it was my way

maybe being nicer to my nephews and neices,I was cruel to them when they were little. I live for each day and try to find something good in everyone...

I do have regrets. I wish I had paid more attention in my studies when I was younger. My mom used to tell me , time is your enemy. If you don't use it well, it leaves you. I am established now, but It took time because I was so careless.
