God... Yes... it is so freaking cold in the winter there, but the summer's are nice. Boston is a great city. You can have fun there, specially at nite. That is when Boston come's alive. At Fenway Park during the Playoffs , you about freeze your know what off...

I'm sure Jersey has it's moments, but I suspect the average temperature during the winter is colder in Boston than in any New Jersey location.
It gets pretty freaking cold in Boston and it can stay that way for extended periods of time. Look at it this way, in Jersey crops are mature or past mature now. In Massachusetts many agricultural crops are either just peaking or have yet to mature.

Parts of new Jersey are colder than Boston such as the western parts, but generally, Boston is colder than Newark for example.

Boston is colder but when you look at weather stats....it's only really a 2-3 degree difference comparing Boston to North Jersey.

It depends on what part of NJ.. High Point in the northwestern part of the state is colder than Boston.
Cape May in the southeastern part of the state is even warmer in the winter than Washington, DC.

I would think the same but Boston is definately cold from late Oct to May.

Meg, I think it's more like 7-10 degrees. Are you kidding me?
2-3 degrees will be more like Boston and Providence, RI.
3-5 degrees is more like Boston and NYC.

New Jersey is south of Boston, so yea. Blueberries come from New Jersey & none from MA -must be warmer there.

Yes because we get the cold fronts that come down from Canada.... winters are brutal here sometimes!!!
