Beats the hell outta me, I live in the high desert of New Mexico and don't have that problem...All I gotta watch out for is the occasional flash flood, here one minute gone the next, but ya don't wanna get caught up in one...

If your me, lay face down at the lowest ground level and have someone roll a boulder over you to prevent you from getting up. But your not me, so do whats necessary to save yourself and your family.

i gather food and water and i take some clothes as well then i move upstairs with the bottled water and everything else in case it gets inside the house, i gather lots of water by the way, i dont go downstiars unless i have to, if i run out of water i boil it.

i don't live near water...i think the closest thing to "water" in my suburbian neighborhood is a pond with a fountain in the business district a few miles away
