Harry Potter is a character of a british childrens' novel book by J.K Rowling that consists of seven book series.
He's a wizard who lost his parents as an infant by a dark wizard called voltdermort.& the adventures & dangers he faces along with his wizard friends at hogwards his wizardy school. (The book is about, fantasy, magic, adventure...)
This book was made into movies as well, movie 5: Harry Potter & the order of the phoenix was realeased July 11, 2007. And the last book of the series was realeased 2 days ago that's why there is so much hipe about it.
Though I'm suprised that it's until now who've heard about it.
The books & movies are pretty famous & pretty cool too!

More than half of the planet is familiar with the story, and almost 90% of its inhabitants are fans of it.
Bashing a phenomenon just because it's popular is definite proof of shallowness.
