You can see the Universal Studios theme park & tour in one or two days. But there's a lot more to be seen in Southern California.

Disneyland is one obvious choice.

But within a few miles of Universal, you also have the Hollywood Bowl, the Warner Bros studio tour, Grauman's Chinese theater, the new Hollywood & Highland center, The Grove, Farmers Market, Melrose Avenue, Rodeo Drive, Malibu...

How many days? If you are coming to Los Angeles I recommend that you set aside 4 days. Id go to Disney instead with a 7 year old. My kids like universal but have more fun things at Disney its only a 4 dollar difference in admission.

I have been there! It will be great for your 7 year old! I would set aside at least 5 days! Or more if your daughter likes to look at everything i would say 6 days! You probably will be gone 10-12 days tops! Hope i help!

Universal is a one day park. I would do Disney also. I think your 7 year old would enjoy Disneyland more than Universal. 2 to 3 days for Disneyland, you can do both also, 2 to 3 days Disneyland and 1 day Universal, give yourself a day off in between. Try a 3 day park hopper for Disneyland, go for two days, take a day off then Universal and last day at Disneyland. Stay on or close to Disney property, on your day off you can go to Downtown Disney and see a movie, shop, go to the Disneyland hotel, have dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, she will love it, but just a slow day.

If you get a fast pass, you only have to wait in line for everything for about 20 minutes, so 2 days. But if you dont you will be waiting in 3 hour lines, and i would set aside 8
