I'm not horrified at all, in fact I can identify with you perfectly .... I've never read the books or seen the movies either.
Harry Potter? I mean, come on. I don't like excessively furry guys, and I'm not into earthenware. So why would I want to watch/read about a hirsute guy who makes pottery? ;OP
seriously, I DO know it's about a boy wizzard. who doesn't? But I'm sick enough of HP with all the hype about the books and the movies that I don't even want to see any of it.
Harry lovers, you can keep him .....
:O)
Have a nice day!!

I haven't read or seen any of the Harry Potter stuff. Don't really care to either. I tried to watch one of the movies that was on tv and got bored. I thought I was the only one who didn't get into it either.

Nope, I've read all the books (i'm in the middle of the last one right now) and seen all the movies. You should read them, and watch the movies they are really good. I'd have to say that the books are way better though : )

I am... the only stuff I know about harry potter are those news publish in the papers.
I'm just not interested in it, but I do respect others who're a fan of it.

I have read the books. But I have never read The Lord of the Rings or seen the movies, and people think that is freaky, so I know how you feel.

*raises hand* I did! I bawled when Fred and Tonks died, and I cried when Lupin died, Sirius died, and during Dumbledore's funeral. I have always been one that has been able to place myself into the mind of a character, and feel their pain as my own. this is why I cried so much while reading Black Beauty or other books. It doesn't help that I am a really emotional person.

Nope...never seen the movies, never read the books. It's simply not my genre. I'm delighted, however, that J.K. Rowling has inspired a couple of generations who might not otherwise have cracked open a book to do so. Kudos to her.
