There are as many different political views as there are people.
Liberal views favor a large, controlling government. This is what many referr to as "Big Brother" or a "Nanny State". In the liberal ideal society the government controls everything. You don't own much of anything yourself, and the government regulates what you can do with what is technically yours. Liberals will often believe in the World Nation concept. This means that they support open borders, allowing anyone to enter any country freely. There is a current move on behalf of the left (another name for liberals) to try to join the USA, Mexico, and Canada as a single country.
Conservative views lean toward small government. The conserative view seeks to "conserve" the original intent of the founding fathers. The government's job is to protect its citizens from each other and from foreign powers, and maintain peace within the country. Other than that, the government has no business poking its nose into other people's affairs. An ideal conservative society would eliminate much of the stringent governmant regulation and would allow private companies to produce what they believe will sell (hance making the consumers and the producers happier).
Moderate: this isn't a definable political view. Moderate means that you are somwhere between Liberal and Conservative.

It's one possible political spectrum.
Liberals tend to value diversity, education, social freedom, civil liberties.... their basic platform is freedom for the individual, even at the expense of stability or security.
Many liberals are also Democrats -- the two terms are not interchangeable. Democrats tend to believe in the liberal platform, but also in extensive (and expensive) social services -- welfare, medical care, etc.
Conservatives value conformity, consistency, tradition, respect for religious values.... trying to create a stable society where life is more ore less predictable, and risks are minimized. Everyone follows the same moral codes, and individually is less important than the stability and security of the group. That's the core conservative philosophy.
Politically, conservatives are split between those who want low taxes, low govt spending and low federal interference in business (fiscal conservatives) and those who like high govt spending and a large federal govt as a way to enforce their social and religious agenda (neo-cons).
Moderate is the term used for anyone who is not locked into one end of that particular spectrum or the other.
The term may apply to someone who holds strong views on each issue, but doesn't fall into the all-or-nothing template of those who buy the entire conservative or liberal package.
Or the term may apply to people who do not hold strong views, and who are willing to discuss compromise and find middle-of-the-road solutions to most problems.

after all the Billions on this "war" we still don't have universal health coverage as most developed nations, America still has too much corruption using the gov. for economic personal gain, these Billions could be spent on our own personal homeland and not on companies profiting off this "war" and bush's cronies in collusion
and that is Billions spent monthly
