and liberals think we should only have have an open dialogue...what about open trade with them?

No Child Left Behind would be scrapped. The Department of Homeland Security would be reorganized. More funds would be allocated to secure our ports. Plans would be made to gradually withdraw from Iraq.
In short, solid steps would be taken to undo the damage Bush and company have done.

Return of most combat troops from Iraq.
The American people by a vast majority seem to oppose our continued occupation of Iraq. So any elected official, especially one who campaigns saying he/she will do that, should carry out the wishes of the American people.
We're still a democratic republic (for now) which means that our elected officials are supposed to act in the name of the people.

Stem cell research will be funded. The cons want to make sure that China and India get this technology so the US will have to pay big $$$ for it. Cons like America to become third world in science so they will embrace the bible....

repealing these horrible trade policies,NAFTA,CAFTA,GATT.Wont happen but it would be nice.
