I'm looking for opinions of the components. Are they worth the $289 they cost? Are they easy to use? Well-documented? Would you recommend them to another fellow programmer?

If not, can you recommend similar tools?

You'd probably be able to find open-source/free versions of most of their functionality, but at $289 for the entire suite, I'd say it's a very good deal. If you go the open source/freeware route, you'll be hard pressed to get the support offered by a component vendor or the level of documentation that usually accompanies a suite such as this.

I've used alternative libraries for POP3 support, but since I don't know your specific requirements, I can't make any particular recommendations.
