I asked my doctor and did some research and it's OK to drink no more than two cups of REGULAR coffee. Decaf goes through a chemical process that makes it more harmful than regular coffee.

I love my coffee but I try not to drink it daily, just a cup when I really feel like killing for one.

I would limit your intake of decaf coffee. As with everything, some is probably okay, HOWEVER there have been some links between decaf coffee and miscarriages and it is not very clear why. I avoided decaf during my pregnancy and drank regular coffee. (I also added a link below suggesting that decaf may raise bad cholesterol levels). I think regular coffee contains less chemicals because chemicals are added during the decaffeinization process. The second link below explains that process.

You can actually have up to 200 mg of caffeine a day and be ok. It's best to have as little as possible, though. Decaf coffee should be just fine because it is decaf! I love sweet tea so much and found decaf tea, but I'm a southern girl so I'd rather have my sweet tea than anything.

I have a regular cup and then a decaf cup, I try to trick myself into thinking it has caffeine, lol. I try not to drink too much decaf because my doctor said she would perfer me just having my 2 servings of caffeine instead.

if you are worried about caffeine, decaf just means they took as much caffeine out as they can. Still some caffeine. I don't know if caffeine is bad for pregnancy though. Congratulations. I have a 5 year old daughter, and it just gets better.

yes! stick to under 300 mg per day, decaf has 5-10mg per cup. But check the caffene in other foods and beverages too, chocolate, tea, soda can really add up!

Yes.
You can even have caffeinated coffee (up to 2 cups a day).

Sure. You can even have caffeinated coffee, up to a point. My doctor is fine with me having so much caffeine a day (300mg), I drink about 5 sodas a day (which only has 30mg each). I've had no problems & the baby is perfectly healthy.
