is a hugo chavez of the anglo-saxon variety what we can expect if a democrat wins the 2008 elections? censuring of opposition voices...sounds kind of like public school books to me.

While Democrats are 10% socialists,
At least democrats don't imprison and torture oponents. They don't shut down TV stations.
By the way it is rumoured that Chavez pays people to surf the internet all day to whitewash him when someone posts something against him/communism.

I do not think it will be quite as bad as Chavez. The dems would not shut done opposition stations, they would make them put democrats on or fine them to death.
