Since apparently there is no effective way to wear a hat under a motorcycle helmet, what's the best way to carry a hat along for the ride? I've recently grown my hair out from years of having a shaved head, and I've got to look dapper when I get off my scoot

Have a carry-all or "trunk" on back of bike, or saddle bags.
If it's a cowboy hat, then.....good luck.

You can wear your hat backwards under the helmet. I've done it before.. it's a bit unconfortable though. My guy friend does it all the time too he's comfortable with it.
You can carry your hat inside your jacket or in the trunk if you have one.

if It's a baseball cap you can just strap it down with a bungee cord or two, or stuff it into a saddle bag. If you're looking at taking a fedora or something along you could get yourself a sturdy hat box and strap that down, with the hat inside of course.

I have an Intruder 800 with a windshield and keep my cowboy hat right behind the shield. Thre is a dead air space right there so it doesn't move. Even at 70mph or above.

Actually, if you wear either a shorty or 3/4 helmet, you CAN wear a baseball cap under it, plus it helps absorb the sweat, so the helmet doesn't smell.

hook the adjusters in the back of the hat around one of your belt loops on your pants if it's a fitted hat though just sit on it
