Is there a way to terminate rights of a father? He lives in florida and we live in wisconsin although he hasnt called here in over 2months and doesnt care waobut anything that happens with the kids..........no contact whatsoever also has not ever paid child support

Generally the only way the courts would allow this is if you're remarried and your husband is willing to adopt--or if he is a felon and the court would deem him a dangerous individual. You should however contact your local child support agency and demand they enforce your child support order.

you didn't say where you lived in Wisconsin, however, yes there are ways to terminate rights, the easiest way is to contact him and ask him to agree to termination but in the event that you can't do that you can file a petition at the courthouse to begin the process however you will most likely need a good reason to terminate and proof of that reason
